Apple Carrot Spinach Jolt

Serves: 2 (10-12 ounce juices)
 
Fresh juice for the win. The fruit helps counter the veggies.
Ingredients
  • 6-8 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 lemon, peeled and seeded
  • 2 apples (most juicers don't require it to be cored, check to make sure)
  • 4 c spinach
  • piece of ginger
Instructions
  1. Feed all vegetables and fruit through your juicer. It doesn't matter the order. I always do heavier first and then the lighter last.
  2. Stir and divide between two glasses or mason jars (if you want to take it with you to work)
  3. Storing in an air tight jar helps preserve the nutrients in the juice. Exposure to outside air (oxygen) slowly kills the nutrients and enzymes, which is why it's best to drink it right away.
