Frozen Peanut/Almond Butter Banana Bites
Author:
Recipe type: Snack
Serves: 1-2 bananas, sliced

Perfect treat and snack for both adults and kids.
Ingredients
  • ¼ c peanut butter or almond butter, or my favorite
  • chocolate coconut peanut buttter
  • 1 Tbs coconut oil, melted
  • ½ tbs ground flaxseed (optional, it make the mixture a little thicker)
  • ½ tbs chia seeds
  • ½ tbs hemp seeds
  • about 1-2 bananas sliced
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl stir together peanut/almond butter with melted coconut oil. Mix well.
  2. Stir in chia seed, hemps seeds and ground flax.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Dip banana slices into the peanut/almond butter mixture, coating both sides.
  5. Place dipped pieces on baking sheet. **Your fingers may get a little dirty/sticky (but that's an excuse to lick them when done), and the peanut/almond butter may run a little bit (it will freeze so don't mind that).
  6. Place in freezer for 30-45 minutes.
  7. You can transfer them to an airtight, freezer safe container and store for up to 3 months after frozen, or you can eat them all on the spot.
  8. I made all three different batches with peanut butter, almond butter, and chocolate coconut peanut butter.
