Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  • 3 cups oats
  • ¾ c brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • ⅓ c whole wheat all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon + some for sprinkling
  • 1 c coconut oil or butter
  • 3-4 green apples or golden delicious apples, sliced into wedges
  • 1½ - 2 c water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 inch casserole pan/baking dish.
  2. Mix oats, sugar, flour, cinnamon in medium mixing bowl.
  3. Using a fork mix in the coconut oil or butter until crumbly.
  4. Divide the crumble mixing putting half on bottom of prepared pan. Add the apples, pour over water and sprinkle some cinnamon.
  5. Sprinkle remaining mixture on top. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until apples are soft.
  6. Top with ice cream or coconut whipped cream
