Apple Crisp

Serves: 8-10
- 3 cups oats
- ¾ c brown sugar or coconut sugar
- ⅓ c whole wheat all purpose flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon + some for sprinkling
- 1 c coconut oil or butter
- 3-4 green apples or golden delicious apples, sliced into wedges
- 1½ - 2 c water
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 inch casserole pan/baking dish.
- Mix oats, sugar, flour, cinnamon in medium mixing bowl.
- Using a fork mix in the coconut oil or butter until crumbly.
- Divide the crumble mixing putting half on bottom of prepared pan. Add the apples, pour over water and sprinkle some cinnamon.
- Sprinkle remaining mixture on top. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until apples are soft.
- Top with ice cream or coconut whipped cream
