I find it easier to make a GF crust made out of nuts. I could never make a good flour crust. This is much easier and definitely less time consuming. The crust is almost a macaroon texture or like a cheesecake crust.
Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 5 – 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 2 c Pecans
- 6 pitted Dates
- 2 Tbs Coconut Oil (melted)
Directions: Add dates and pecans to a food processor and process until crumbly. Add in coconut oil and process until dough forms. Press into a pie greased pie dish. Bake on 375 degrees for 5 – 10 minutes.
