Really I had some doubts about getting a coach online, because many people think that you need to be face to face with your coach (I was into this group).
When I began my life as a runner 2 years ago (approx.) , I had ran 2 Half marathons, 1 15K, 2 10K and 4 5K and I had followed my own training plan of 3-4 days per week of running (I had decided how many miles per day and etc etc). My best time for a Half Marathon was 2:14:54, with alot of suffering!!!!
As I began my training plan with you as my personal coach, I felt that my body was changing (for better – my weight was 143 pounds and Now I am 135 !!!) and I felt that my body was stronger day by day. You are not just a online coach, you have been close to me (by skype, WhatsApp and by the APP – Training peaks) leading me, correcting me, saying what is better or not, helping me with my food habits and really today I can say I am another person, a better runner. Last year after just 3 months working with you, I ran a Half Marathon in Costa Rica Central America and my time was 1:40:16!!!! Basically 35 minutes faster than my faster Half Marathon before I cam to work with you!!!!!! It was amazing. I cannot described my feelings. ——“I had always used those internet searched half marathon training plans. They worked. They got me from the start to the finish line. I used one when I ran my first marathon in 2014. It did exactly what it needed to do. It got me from start to finish. After that race I thought about hiring a coach, but then I became a mom and running took a very back seat. Flash forward to 2020 and my desire was renewed to try to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Again, I used one of those internet marathon training plans. 2020 was full of surprises and after my goal marathon was cancelled I didn’t want to waste the training I’ve done and searched for another marathon in the same time frame that maybe had a smaller chance of being cancelled. I found a race and it was a much tougher course than my goal race, but alas I ran a 20 minute PR, but still about 15 minutes off of a Boston Qualifying time. So I decided I was going to make the leap and find a coach. I have been following Bryanna on IG since that first marathon in 2014. I looked at other coaches, but kept coming back to Bryanna. I loved that she didn’t make any excuses. She ran outside no matter what the weather was. It could be raining/snowing/sunny/windy and she was outside grinding. I also really liked that she was a mom. I felt like I could really relate to her. She had a busy schedule day to day and was making it work and running fast. She gave me the confidence that I could do it too!
So, November 2020 I jumped head first into it with her. And there literally hasn’t been a day that I’ve looked back. Some days I wonder if she’s trying to kill me, but those days make me stronger. She is ALWAYS available with questions, comments, concerns. That first month I probably asked more than a million questions about workouts and she answered ALL of them probably with a smile on her face. She puts your workouts into the Training Peaks app and so you have like 3 weeks of workouts in that you can look at and be prepared to make it work around your schedule or if you have questions or know you’ll be traveling. If I have the slightest twinge in whatever body part, I can easily tell her and she gives me moves that helps strengthen that or stretch it out. Bryanna is FULLY involved in your training and really rides the ups and downs with you. She gives you the challenge needed to hit your goals. She is always so positive and encouraging too. I went from a 4:07 (2014), 3:47 (2020), to 3:08 (June 2021) and 2:58 (October 2021). She will help you get to your really big end goal! My body and legs really responded to her style of training and I love that I am not running 90 miles a week. Her style gives me the opportunity to have a life and not feel like I’m just always constantly running.
