Tuesday’s Breakfast Recipe: Quinoa

June 25, 2013 Bryanna

Lets just say I love breakfast!! It is the most important meal of the day, so you should start loving it too :). Some of my favorite things for breakfast include, oatmeal (hot or cold), pancakes, smoothies, yogurt with granola, and now quinoa. Check out some of my breakfast recipes here.

I decided to make a quick quinoa breakfast and it hit the spot, so it’s worth sharing. (You can access the full recipe here)

Ingredients include: quinoa, raisins, shredded coconut, maple syrup, cinnamon, and milk

It takes less than 25 minutes to make. It’s great to start while you’re in the shower or out for a quick run. Cook up some quinoa, I did a 1/4 cup uncooked quinoa. After it was done I added cinnamon, raisins, coconut, syrup, and some milk.

Nothing more, nothing less!! It is so simple, but yet so yummy!! I forgot how much I love quinoa for breakfast, and there’s so much you can do with it.

I am working on my recap of our Ragnar Relay, Wasatch Back Utah. So be watching for it the next couple of days and sorry for the delay. There were so many pictures to wade through from everyone and lots to process. It was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to share all about it.

Any breakfast recipes you love?
