Happy Wonderful, Amazing Day Folks!!
Okay I am feeling just tad bit excited, happy, giddy, you name it. It’s Friday, which means only one thing, I am getting MARRIED in ONE day!! I honestly don’t know how I have managed to get everything accomplished, especially since I have spent most of my summer traveling. The help and support of great friends and family has definitely been amazing!!
This past week was spent getting all the small details done. I filled the lavender satchels early on in the week.
They will be used for when we leave the wedding. Hopefully the guests will be gentle with their throwing. I love the smell of lavender, and it’s definitely softer and biodegradable, so I thought it was the perfect addition to our wedding. And it has kept my house smelling like heaven!!
A couple nights were dedicated to filling the wedding favors with mints and peanuts. This was all my moms idea. I was going to go without wedding favors, but she insisted on something.
Our wedding programs came in on Tuesday, and I immediately started folding them.
Marc designed them and we sent them to a printing shop for printing. More cost efficient. I love them!!
My car is plumb full with wedding decorations and flowers, and my wedding dress. We will have lots of vehicles full going out to the rehearsal. Here’s some of the decorations Marc made, that will be used at the ceremony and reception site:
And our sign from our engagement photos:
I can’t forget my bells from team High Nuun:
They will be displayed at the head table along with these signs for the head table (which will be back above our bed after the wedding):
Obviously this isn’t all of the decorations, but I promise to have some photos of all the pretties from the wedding!!
It’s been crazy around here with family and friends arriving throughout the week. Everyone is basically here already. My house is definitely a giant slumber party. I am loving every moment of it. I am making sure to cherish all these moments, because before long they will be gone and I will be MARRIED.
The girls and I are excited to spend one last night together before the Big Day!!
I am definitely a blessed bride to be. I can’t wait to marry the amazing man God has placed in my life!! Everyday I am thankful for what He has done for me, and who He as given me!!
I will probably be on cloud nine for a while, so I might not be in contact with you!! 😉 Next time I post, I will be a MARRIED women living Happily Ever After!!
How was your last night before marriage spent? Do you remember the feeling?
