Even though its been raining all day, and its cold and looking dreary outside, I can’t help but smile. I have been married for a week and it’s been the greatest week of my life!!
I love being surrounding by all my beautiful flowers from the wedding. I love having fresh flowers in the house.
Yes they have lasted this long. My bouquet is even still going strong.
I am trying to dry it out, so it’s been hanging upside down in the guest bathroom all week. Marc’s mom made the bridesmaid bouquets and all the boutonnieres. They turned out great. Here’s a snapshot (better ones to come).
Marc and I are trying to get all the gifts put away from the wedding and trying to make our house look like it’s somewhat in order. We keep receiving gifts in the mail from family, so we are constantly trying to make more room. It would help if I would get rid of some things. ;).
Marriage has been great!! I love waking up next to my best friend every morning. We started the marriage off right…morning runs!! There’s no other way I would rather start my day, than with a run with my man. In fact I started my wedding day with a 10 mile run.
I wanted to share some of the photos captured from our day by others, as well as some of the photos my photographer has sent me. It’s been fun looking through them all and I can’t wait for more!!
Here’s a quick shot from rehearsal:
Don’t worry I started the morning properly fueling.
Now for the wedding photos!!

I had to smear the cake all over Marc….more fun that way

Our photographer, sent photos to view for our “Thank Yous”. We are going to make post cards to send out, it’s way cheaper and more fun.
I chose these ones for the “Thank Yous” (so they were actaully emailed to me and not snapshots from a computer screen)
I hope to see more photos soon!! It turned out to be perfect weather that day. Clouds are a a photographers best friend and that’s what we got for the day. The night ended or started with a beautiful sunset, which made for some great photos as well.
We were blessed with such great friends and family helping and making our day even more special. I will have to share more on our day later. It is definitely a day that won’t be forgotten. It all seemed like a blur and I can’t believe it’s already been a week.
I better get back to spending the day with my big sis and nephew. We are watching movies and drinking hot cocoa, since the rain has kept us from our 50 mile bike ride that was planned.
Stay warm friends!!
