On Sunday I had another great baby shower with my husbands side of the family and my friends near by. It was such a great afternoon with perfect weather. Again I was beyond blessed, as well as baby, with some great stuff and lots of pink.
Our little girl is definitely already spoiled, and has nearly a full wardrobe for her first year. I enjoyed all the hand made gifts from Marc’s aunts from receiving blankets, burp clothes, blankets, headbands, and hair pieces. Hand made gifts are always treasured.
It was great to see Marc’s family I haven’t seen in awhile. It’s weird to think that this time last year we were days away from our wedding and doing a million wedding preparations.

I scored some great decorations for baby girls room, with this nice garland.

I am thinking of hanging it above her crib or dresser or changing table…okay I simply can’t decide. It won’t have the pictures of us on it though when I hang it. My nieces and mother-in-love put it together. I wish I had a better picture of it.
Again, Marc and I were blessed with some needs for the baby from the baby swing/vibrating chair, more clothes (lots of clothes), homemade burp clothes, homemade blankets, books (can never have too many of those), the baby carrier (bjorn), breast feeding storage kit, the convertible car seat and much much more.
More importantly I was blessed with the presence of family.

Did I mention the great fresh berries and cake we enjoyed. I also enjoyed all the conversations with family and friends about babies and taking tips and pointers. They tried to persuade me to tell them our top baby name picks, but I didn’t budge. Marc and I are keeping it a surprise, and we honestly haven’t picked the name. We have it narrowed down to 5, but are waiting until we see her to give her a name.
We may need to narrow our list a little more too.
I have amazing family and friends. Now Marc and I can finish up our registry and get everything ready for baby girl’s arrival. We are nearly only 5 weeks away!! Hopefully not later!!
