Spartan Race Giveaway

January 23, 2015 Bryanna

Howdy Folks!! Another week has come to a close, and before leaving you for the weekend, I thought I would offer you something fun.

Disclosure: All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this post, but was asked by Spartan to write this.

As you know I love a good challenge and love to run, and sometimes it can be boring doing the same old standard races…cue in Spartan.

Spartan races are both fun and challenging, as they not only require running but they require a certain strength. They offer many different race distances, with different obstacles to conquer before your race finish. You can race anything from a 5k (sprint) to 12+ miles (beast), with 15-25 different obstacles in each race..

This year Spartan has lots of new changes and fun. The World Championship Spartan Race has moved to Lake Tahoe, CA this year with great cash prizes, and a new podcast is launching with the founder of Spartan, Joe Desena. In the new podcast you find great guest speakers, that include an olympic wrestling coach, ultra marathon who carries a fridge on his back, the founder of seal fit, and a visually impaired wrestler, plus many more.

Spartan is also offering their first Spartan Cruise in March. This cruise goes to the Bahamas from Miami, where you race a Spartan obstacle course on a private island. It’s 3+ miles of 15 obstacles. And if you don’t want to run, simply use it as a family vacation and watch all the other crazy runners. It’s a 3 day cruise, with children cruising free (17 and younger), where you train with elites, meet the founder of Spartan, party on the beach and you can take 5 months to pay for the cruise. Find more info here.

And finally, you can buy a 2015 Spartan season pass. A season pass gets you any race, any where, and any time, along with other member benefits. These benefits include free bag check, discounts on hotels, car rentals and more. A pass is only $549.99. Not bad for unlimited races and fun, and there’s over 50 races to chose from!! Plus you can be the first to sign up for races and chose any heat. For more information use this link.

These races require strength both mentally and physically, determination, and a go-getter attitude. All races have mud and water, along with signature obstacles. Running is already challenging and Spartan races take it to the next level, to challenge your inner runner and inner beast.

Qualify for the world championships, and you’ll be running at altitude, with base elevation at 6,000+ feet, and a vertical gain of 2,800+ feet. Yet another challenge.

Read more about their new perks, cruise and podcast here. You can also find more information on Spartan races here. In addition, here’s a list of their 2015 race season. There’s races in Montana, Hawaii, Florida, California, Vegas and more (too many to choose from).

So are you ready for a new challenge? Are you ready to take on new feats and prove your strength….? (a little drama always helps). If you are, I encourage you to enter the giveaway for a free race entry into any open heat<arel=”nofollow” href=”http://www.spartan.com//” target=”_blank”> Spartan race in the U.S. Enter below using the Rafflecopter widget.

I just want to keep life exciting. I have never done a Spartan Race, but my husband and I did the Warrior Dash together. After we completed the race and went to the festival part, we seemed to have a connection with everyone we met. We were all sharing war stories, saying how fun it was. Instant bonds with everyone there! I want to do the Fort Bragg Spartan Sprint because it is pretty much in my neighborhood.
