5 Things I am Loving

July 26, 2013 Bryanna

Happy Friday,

So glad it’s the weekend (almost). I have managed to stay busy all week ordering wedding decorations, figuring out my hair for my wedding and getting ready for my brother’s wedding next Friday. I can’t believe it’s so soon!! I leave Tuesday for Seeley Lake, which is where his wedding is and will be kept busy with wedding festivities. I will be sure to post some pictures.

I wanted to share what I have been loving and can’t get enough of lately.

1. Dark Chocolate Macaroons

These are delicious!! They are vegan, Gluten Free and raw and come and other flavors. The sea salt caramel is great and so is the blondie macaroon. There a nice treat for after dinner. And one always does the trick. You have to try them sometime, and can find them in the cold section of most Natural food stores, like Whole Foods. And they don’t have any harmful ingredients, and like the package says “Feed Your Body Royally.” What’s not to love?!

2. Nuun

I can’t say this enough, but there’s nothing better than finishing a long sweaty workout with some Nuun. It’s a great way to replenish electrolytes and it’s so refreshing. There are so many flavors to chose from, and I especially like Lemon Tea and Watermelon right now. Those are my go to flavors.

3. The Sun

Going to the beach (at the lake, unfortunately I am not close to the ocean) and soaking up some Vitamin D is one of my favorite things about summer. Hanging out at the beach is always so fun and it’s great for people watching. For some reason it’s just relaxing to be by the water.

4. Iced Tea

green tea, iced

Every week I make a nice big jug of ice tea. I use green tea bags, for their antioxidants and phytochemicals. Why not fight off cancer too?? I fill up a jug with water, place the green tea bags in the glass jug and set it on the porch, letting the sun do it’s magic. Iced tea is a must during the summer.

5. Smoothies

It seems I have a smoothie for breakfast every other day. You can’t get bored with smoothies, because there are so many variations. You can add almost anything to your smoothie. I love to add spinach or kale, because mixed with the right berries you can’t taste it, and it adds some important vitamins and minerals. On hot days they are great for cooling your body temp down. Try some of my recipes (I don’t have many added, but it’ll give you some ideas). 🙂

Hope you have a great weekend and have time to enjoy the sunshine!!
