Then There Was Five….

February 20, 2018 Bryanna

Then There Was Five…….

Maybe you guessed from the title or you are still wondering…..five what?

I have kept it a secret long enough and now I am happy to finally be sharing….Marc & I (Bryanna) are expecting another beautiful baby, to make our family a family of 5. We still have a few more months to prepare for this newest addition and to prepare our other children for another member of the clan

R is all about having a baby sibling, and is insistent it is a girl. We will find out in a few weeks what we are having and will be sharing with you all as well once we know. R says I can have a baby brother next time, but this time a baby sister. Explaining to a 3 year that’s not entirely how it works, well that has been a challenge.

We will be expecting our little bean August 5th. I am hoping he or she decides to come a little earlier, but I think most moms hope for that. Never-the-less, we will be excited when arrival day finally does arrive. It is fun to see how our world is already shifting as we prepare for another child. The journey of life is full of big and small surprises and many ups and downs. But it’s a fun ride!!

I have been slowly getting my energy back and not feeling as nauseous anymore. Every day I feel a little better and this is the week my energy comes back!! I am speaking it in. I can not wait to wake up tomorrow feeling like I am supermom again, because lately I feel like I could sleep for days. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to sleep for a few months now.

I also feel I have popped a lot sooner with baby 3 then I did with baby 1 or baby 2. Maybe it’s in my head, but I don’t think I will be hiding this bump as long as I could with 1 & 2.

I am running and feeling good on the run. More just tired from pregnancy fatigue in the first trimester, but I am in the second trimester at 16 + weeks. The only complaint on my run is having to pee after 8 miles. That is the longest I can go without stopping to pee. The joys of pregnancy.

I won’t be sharing weekly pregnancy updates or really any pregnancy updates. You may get a few check-ins throughout the pregnancy, but we still aim to keep the blog centered around health and fitness.

My running plans for the year are to run as long as I can in this pregnancy and to “race” conservatively. Pregnancy racing is a little different than my normal racing. It will be a different season of racing this spring and summer and I am okay with this.

Can’t wait to share the gender with you!! Have a wonderful week friends!!
