A Reunion with friends, food and gardens

May 18, 2013 Bryanna

Good evening family and friends!!

I wanted to write before heading off to bed. I am hitting the sack early because I have the Windermere marathon tomorrow morning. I am nervous for it, since my knee has been acting up. I am hoping to finish and PR, but we will see.

Marc and I picked up our packets this morning. I also picked up a pair of new Brooks shoes. I got the pureflow 2’s. They are comfy. The shirts this year are purple. Marc wasn’t too fond of the color.

Marc is doing the half and I am doing the full. This is Marc’s first half and I am super proud of him. He has been so dedicated to training and I know he will do great.

On Friday night, my friend was in town from back home and Marc and I picked her up for dinner at the Spaghetti factory.

It was so great to see her. She was in town for a mini mission before she lives for Thailand on her first mission trip with Youth With a Mission and had a free day. I hadn’t seen her for months, I think since Christmas!!

with my great mt friend

We enjoyed great food and great desert: Spumoni. Marc decided to eat it with a fork since I stole his spoon.

And then he preceded to feed me (sorry for the blurry photo).

After dinner Marc and I channeled our inner kids and had some fun, and Angel captured the moments.

After dinner we took Angel to Manito Park. Marc and I love this place. We had to show Angel the place where Marc proposed two months before. (read more about our story)

Right here at the fountains in Duncan Gardens. So gorgeous. The flowers aren’t in bloom yet, sadly.

Then we headed over to theĀ LilacĀ Gardens!!

Oh and yes my sister, brother-in-love and nephew met us there. I kind of liked how this photo turned out with my sister and I.

I grabbed some photos with Angel and Micah as well in the Lilac Gardens.

Of course Marc and I wanted a snapshot!! My nephew wouldn’t leave my side so he was in the photos too!!

here we all are

It was a Friday evening well spent. I already miss Angel!! I am excited for Angel and happy she’ll be back for the wedding.

I will keep you posted on Windermere and hope to get some photos!! Until then stay classy!!

What’s been the highlight of your weekend?
