An Inspirational Quote: “Call to Me….”

March 7, 2014 Bryanna

Friday!!!!

Woot Woot!! I am actually doing my Friday dance, which is really my every morning dance with a bit more enthusiasm. My husband looks at me and shakes his head whenever I do this, with a grin I may add. What can I say I love dancing.

Well that was random. I am keeping it short this Friday, and just wanted to share one of my favorite inspirational scriptures. I have been meditating on this Word for some time now, and every time I read it, it gives me a new and deeper meaning.

jeremiah 33.3

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” It’s definitely a scripture I take with me on my long runs when I feel like making my next step a step into a walk.

How amazing is that? “Call to me and I will answer you” and not only answer you, but “show you great and mighty things which” we don’t know, we can’t comprehend.

Believe me I have had those moments in my races or training runs, when I do call to Him. I ask Him why I am doing this, and I call on Him to give me His strength. He never disappoints. Those runs I am feeling weak and want to give up, I call to Him, and He certainly has given me strength, and shown me how great and mighty he is.

Like on a recent long run, where I ran an average pace of 7:17

I wasn’t expecting those numbers on my watch.

There are so many other areas of my life, where He has shown me so much more than I could ever imagine. My husband is one. I prayed for years for my husband, and He gave me so much more than I prayed for. He amazed me with Marc. Definitely “greater” than I could have dreamed up.

I could list so many other examples. His plan is always better, and I am seeking His plan for my life, because I want to walk in my destiny and be shown “great and mighty things.” I want to be amazed each and every day by Him, and I do this by trusting Him and calling out to Him. I am trusting Him to run with me on my next long run tomorrow, and I am believing He will be there when I need a little extra push 😉

I am so thankful for his great blessings and care for my life!!

Have a great weekend Friends!!

Until Next time, Be Whole, Be Fit and Be Amazed!!
