Is anyone else excited that it’s almost the weekend?
I sure am. Only because my hubby has it off and we are going to pick some pumpkins and apples at the local farms here, and enjoy the Pumpkin & Apple Festival. I am going to attempt another race as well, hopefully without the flu this time.
Fall truly is one of my favorite seasons. I think there is something in every season that I love, yes even the cold and dreary winter. Something about the glistening snow and Christmas. Speaking of changing seasons, I’ve found the perfect headbands to go with every season. Or more like they found me.
Maven Thread headbands are versatile and stylish. I love wearing them to workout in, as well as for those days I don’t have time to do anything with myself, because I spent all morning trying to accomplish breakfast and getting the kids dressed. Yes, sometimes that is a feat in itself, and can take the better part of the day. But what can you do?! Anyways, I digress.
I love how soft they are and they fit my smaller head. I don’t have much hair, so most headbands don’t fit me, and always slide around. These stay put while I am running. I do notice them sliding a tinsy bit when I am wearing them for casual wear, but I don’t notice them slide while I workout. They are perfect for summer in keeping the sweat out of my eyes and my post baby fly-aways out of my eyes. My regrowth is something crazy right now.
The headbands are also great for those crisp fall mornings, when it’s not quite time for a beanie or thick headband, but you still need a little something to cover the ears because mornings are cooler. Lately I have been wearing the headbands in the cool mornings, and I love that they keep me warm without making me sweaty.
Wear them thicker or scrunch them up for a thinner band look and if they are a bit too loose you can wash and dry them to help shrink them a bit. I love the soft material used and the fun designs. I couldn’t choose between the packs, thankfully they sent me both 😉 They are sold in a pack of two and are super affordable. My third favorite part!! I love that they aren’t pricey, but yet stylish, fun, comfy & they work. Also, they just added two new styles!! I think I’ll be adding them to my wardrobe soon. 😉 The headbands are under 20 bucks for a pack of two and are on sale right now.
Wear them for yoga, running, cross fit or date night. Honestly, these headbands work for all of the above and they are so comfy you don’t even notice their on your head. Don’t worry about washing them, they keep their shape and size and stay soft. They live up to Fit. Fashion. Function. If you are a mom, like to workout and/or run, or you just like to be styling, you’ll want to try Maven Thread’s fun headbands. Perfect for covering sweaty hair after a run when you have errands to run, and great for those mornings you just didn’t get to your hair because the kids were, well, kids.
My only complaint is that they ride a little and I have to readjust them during everyday use, but it’s nothing that annoys me. I am sure if you have thicker hair, it won’t be a problem for you. I seem to have a small head, because most headbands don’t fit me and hats I have to wear on the smallest latch too.
Check out my Instagram for a chance to win headbands of your choice. Believe me you’re hair and family will thank you 😉 At least mine do.
