39 Weeks Update

August 26, 2016 Bryanna

A few years ago this was the last update I did with my pregnancy, as R arrived a few days later after a long labor. I wasn’t blessed with one of those quick labors. I am hoping this will be my last update with little man as well. You get to the point you just don’t want to be pregnant any more and you long to hold the little one!! Meet him and see him in the flesh.

Or maybe that’s just me. This particular pregnancy has dragged on the last few months, more because of the pain I have been feeling, the nausea and the lack of sleep due to the pain. 39 weeks is enough!!

So here’s to the last update, I pray!!

Gender: Boy

img_8653.jpgSymptoms: Tired, exhausted, in pain and nauseous. But there is not much longer. My symptoms really haven’t changed. My back pain is more intense now though, but that could be from greater pressure.
Maternity Clothes: None

Baby size: The baby is going to be the perfect size. Still growing.

Belly Button: outie

Stretch Marks: none

Sleep: Sleep was a little better this week, but R had been up a few nights and I with her, as she gets the last bit of teething done. She just wanted me to hold her. Besides that I have had better sleep as baby changes positions and doesn’t sit on my nerve or jam into my ribs as he had been. It’s not as painful when I lay down, which has made sleeping a bit easier.

Miss Anything: Running!!

Cravings: Nothing but something light, cold and sweet.

Aversions: Everything!! My appetite just isn’t there. I eat small meals throughout the day and try to snack a lot to get my calories.

Looking Forward to: Holding little man and finally giving him a name!!

What I am Loving: I honestly don’t know what I am loving.

Workouts: Tried running the other morning and it was painful but at least I got in some mileage. Mostly been walking, strength and core this week. Lots of walking trying to get things going and moving.

Have a great weekend folks. I am hoping we’ll be welcoming into the world a new baby boy. That would make for a great weekend!!
